Jose A. Molinas, MAI

Mr. Molinas is a Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute, with over 20 years of appraisal, consulting and management experience working in the Southern New York Region and in Northern/Central New Jersey. Most recently, his area of coverage & expertise expanded to include the Northeast Region (CT, PA, NJ, NY, MA & DE).

2004 President of the Mid-Hudson Chapter of the Appraisal Institute; Past associate instructor with the Appraisal Institute; Education Chair of the Mid-Hudson Chapter (2005-2009).

Qualifications: Certified General Real Estate Appraiser - New York & New Jersey

Education: B.S., Business Administration - New York University at New Paltz

Background:  Prior to starting Molinas Realty Inc., Mr. Molinas was Vice President with a Regional Commercial Bank (The Bank of New York), managing its Regional Real Estate Valuation Department, covering Central & Northern New Jersey as well as Rockland & Orange Counties in New York.

Most recently, Mr. Molinas was Vice President and Regional Manager of the Commercial Appraisal Division of a National Commercial Bank (Washington Mutual), covering NJ, CT, NY, PA MA & DE, where he managed a staff of commercial appraisers and reviewers, as well as independent fee vendors in the regions covered.

Experienced in appraising commercial, industrial and residential properties for condemnation, litigation, certiorari and mortgage purposes.
